Okay- so this is kind of funny but I had a dream that I became a minimalist and woke up super inspired. So I have started to go through my bathroom first and got rid of products that I don’t use or don’t love.
I also started to go through my makeup and get rid of anything that I don’t love or don’t use & I put them all in a basket for my sisters and mom to go through.
Next, I started to go through all my clothes and getting rid of the stuff that I don’t love or haven’t worn it in a while. I noticed how I hold onto things that I really don’t even love just because I think that it will go back in style? Do you do that too?
And now I am inspired to continue to get rid of stuff/donate/sell things that I know that I don’t need.
I just realized how less truly is more.I have felt kind of overwhelmed and a little bit bogged down by the mess. I have said this before but the state of my mind is the state of my room. And lately I’ve been recognizing how I can clear my room to then make space for my thoughts and everything. If that makes sense?
Anyone else feel like quarantine put a magnifying class to your lack of discipline in life? I do.
So I am wanting to get on a routine and start to really care about what I have in my home and the environment I live in, you know?
What have you been learning during this time?
