Dear friend/reader,
I often pray for you when I’m writing. I pray that the eyes that read these words will find a deep joy, a healing, and comfort through whatever I write. I am thankful for you, and also feel a sense of friendship through the interaction and conversations many of us have had or will have. Your story matters.
There have been seasons where I saw nothing but darkness and wondered why or how I’d ever get through some times, but what I’ve seen now is that Christ has used what I viewed as broken or ugly to create encouragement for someone who finds themselves in a place where they’re seeking hope and light.
If you’re going through or have been through a season of drought emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, then you may know or see how that has shaped you. I’ve been shaped by those times and now can solidly say my seasons of drought have been the most “soaked in wisdom” I’ve experienced since my story began. I know that God brings beauty from ashes.
I pray that what you’ll find encouragement through my scribbles, tears, laughter, mess, and hope.
Thanks for reading!

My fiancé, Luke, and I have noticed that when we may be tempted to go past our boundaries, God has protected us. At least we feel it’s God’s way of protecting us. Here is an example: Get your popcorn ready, this is gonna be a good one. This is a story for, “what not to […]
So this week I did not have a blog pre-written that I felt was meant to go out just yet. I prayed a week ago for God to give me wisdom and help me to write about a subject. I thought about writing on thankfulness or joy and that’s what I landed on. But what […]

I have shared more recently about parts of my story. For the past nearly 5 years I have dealt with suffering. I was in a car accident nearly 5 years ago that changed my life. I have dealt with a lot of pain and suffering, and some of that being PTSD/anxiety and depression. I wanted […]
Hi, it’s Tay. It’s been awhile since I shared on here for many reasons. But one of those reasons is because I think I have needed this time for some healing. It’s a part of growing. It’s a part of recognizing that I am an incomplete piece of pottery that God is continually molding. Sometimes […]

I was reflecting recently as I was talking to someone I love who was saying she was going through a difficult time after she poured her heart out and ministered to people. I knew the feeling all too well. There are times where I feel a certain sense of direction on what to write about […]
